The Food Chemistry laboratory is fully equipped with state of the art instrumentation that enables the lab to be at the forefront of food analysis.

The lab is able to undertake full nutritional analysis of food samples, both group 1 and group 2 for all kinds of food and drink samples.

We also have state of the art equipment that enables us to conduct in depth research into all aspects of the food and drink industry.

This enables us to analyse food samples not just to qualify and quantify compounds that should be there, but also we are able to conduct this research down to ppb levels, enabling us to detect contaminants that shouldn’t be present such as pesticides, metals, plastics and other materials
